User-to-User Videos

The Cord enables users to send videos directly to one another. It's important to note that

neither the videos nor any data derived from them will be accessible to The Cord or its

administrators. The content of these videos is solely between the sender and recipient.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide and improve The Cord’s services, maintain account functionality, ensure security, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

Account information such as your first name, email address, phone number, and related

account data may be retained while your account remains active. Payment information is

processed and stored by our third-party payment processor and is subject to their privacy and

retention policies.

Users may delete their account and request deletion of associated personal information directly within the app by navigating to App Settings > Delete Account. Users may also contact us at ryan@thecord.app for assistance with account deletion or privacy-related questions.

Upon account deletion or receipt of a verified deletion request, we will delete or anonymize

personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal purposes.
